Age class float over 3000m at the World Cup

Performance trends in 3000 m open-water age group swimmers from 25 to 89 years competing in the FINA World Championships from 1992 to 2014 Age class sports enthusiast have been usually studied in progress and less in swimming.Although older athletes swim in the pool, there has been a World Cup for swimming over 3000 meters in open waters since 1992. We have now examined the trends for the swimmers of age groups 25-29 to 85-89 years. It turned out that the number of participants over the years rose and the performance over the years became more and better in all ages.As a rule, men were faster than the women.

How Pacen top triathlets over the Ironman route

Positive pacing in elite IRONMAN triathletes Pacing describes how an athlete is changing its speed in an endurance burden. It is generally assuming that in a longer-term load, the speed decreases more and more, which has not been studied for Ironman triathlets. On the basis of 13 Ironman Triathlon from 2014, we are more closely analyzing the 100 fastest finishers. For nearly 1'400 finishers, we evaluated at 8,000 mutacles on the bike range and almost 12,000 mutacles on the running track. It turned into 10 of the 13 competitions that athletes on the cycling line were supplemented at speed, while on the running track in all analyzed competitions decreased the speed. On the bike track, the speed in women decreased significantly more than the men while there were no differences between the sexes on the running track.

Characteristic of Hyponatriaemic athletes

Pre-race characteristics and race performance in hyponatremic and normonatremic finishers of Czech ultra-races The stress-associated hyponatremia is a well-known phenomenon in endurance sports and there are certain risk groups for shorter endurance charges such as a marathon. We have now examined in 138 finishers in long-distance races (multi-stay races and 24-hour races in mountain bikes as well as 100km and 24-hour race in progress), whether there are differences in selected variables such as age, gender, club affiliation, workout, experience, body weight and BMIare. There were no differences between athletes with and without hyponatremia in the target. All the work can be read below http://www.gymnica.upol.cz/artkey/gym-201603-0001_pre-race_characteristics_and_race_performance_in_hyponatremic_and_normonatremic_finishers_of_czech_ultra-races.php

Observer reportage

In the suffering society The observer reporter Moritz Marthaler has examined by means of a long-distance wheel race whether and how passing managers are in sports. Surely successfully successful people can also regularly do sports sports.

However, there will be no professionally curved manager in sports to come to the top, not in his age group. In the report, my opinion is also inserted, see http://webreportagen.beobachter.ch/lidensgesellschaft/

Retrospect and Prospect

The hunt for the legend After the competition in Mexico, I conclude the first 20 years long-distance triathlon. I never expect that I can finish such competitions and can win.In 1997, I played my first ultra (triple) and then set a Swiss record in Le Fontanil. Now 2016 I played a triple again and was able to set up a track record. In recent years, I saw many athletes, winners, losers, world champion and was at world record race.Few people stayed true to the sport for a long time and many were forgotten again.Only one of these many has set a brand that seems almost unattainable. The Frenchman Guy Rossi has gotten most of the Ultras and rightly applies as a living legend. His record numbers I will try to try in the next 20 years and try to remove each individual record.

Sex differences in the pacing at Ultraman Hawaii

Sex differences in pacing during ‘Ultraman Hawaii’ Generally, we assume as active triathlets from that one runs slower after a quick cycle split. If you look at a faster runtime on the bike. So far, no one has studied what happens at a multi-papier race with different distances and disciplines like the Ultraman Hawaii. We have now collected all finishers from 1983-2015 and their final times divided into quartiles (Q1 = the quarter with the fastest times and Q4 = the neighborhood with the slowest times). We found out that men and women at the Ultraman Hawaii are very different. For the fastest women, the power took off during day 1 from swimming to cycling, but remained constant during day 2 (cycling) and day 3 (running).

Infodemiology in the triathlon

Infodemiological data of Ironman Triathlon in the study period 2004-2013 We have studied as often triathlets (and other people) since 2004 on the search engine Google search for the term Ironman Triathlon. The search was cyclically over the years, correlated with the number of annual finishers and women were more often surfing than men.Younger athletes who survived much more often on the Internet were much less on the competitions.

There was also a connection to the men between cycling and demand on the Internet as well as a connection between the countries with most medals and searches on the Internet. The somewhat exceptional study can be found under https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/27642618/

Laboratory changes in younger and older ultra skills

Predicting race time in male amateur marathon runners So far, there have been some attempts to develop formula to predict the marathon period as accurately as possible. A Spanish group has now measured various variables (physique, training, muscle strength, ruffier test) in 84 men and looked at which variables the time can be predicted. Many of the variables correlated with the term. There were 2 models in which body fat, changing the heart rate in recovery after the ruffier test and the half-marathon time (model 1) as well as body fat, change in heart rate in recovery after the ruffier test and the 10 km time (model2) The competition time could predict best. The complete analysis can be found under https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/27385548/
